The capture of the English 69th line
At the battle of Quatre-Bras on June 16, 1815, the 8th cuirassiers charged and annihilated the square of the 69th English line infantry regiment.
The cuirassier Henry seized the regimental flag held tight in his arms by the ensign in the middle of the square.
Henry received a reward for feat of arms of 4,000 gold francs from the hands of Napoleon, who also named him Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur.
